Webcam Option for Patron Photos

You want to start taking pictures of your patrons to upload to their accounts, but you dont know what to buy.  Check out the Logitech C110.  This camera is not very expensive and easy to use.  It works with both Windows XP and Windows 7 computers.

Change your DNS settings

 Here are instructions on how to update your DNS settings to the new server.  Included are instructions for both Windows7 and Windows XP.  You will need to be sure to unlock patron computers before doing this to save the changes.

Word Shortcuts

Do you use Word?  Check the Tech services How-to page for some shortcuts that you might find helpful.

 
Printing from Adobe in IE or Firefox

 Do your patrons try to print a document from the internet but all that prints is a blank sheet with a heading at the top?  If they have tried to do a print from the file menu and the print preview looks correct, it may be that the document is in adobe format and needs to be printed using the adobe settings. See the tech tip for printing with adobe.
